Areas of practice
Nicola is an experienced Criminal Lawyer having served as a Federal Prosecutor for two years before commencing at Legal Aid NT in 2012 where she held numerous roles including Manager of the Darwin Crime Practice and Manager Client Services. Nicola has extensive experience in all types of criminal matters in both the Supreme and Local Courts and a particular expertise in Youth Justice. Nicola also practiced in the Family Law Section at Legal Aid NT appearing before the Federal Circuit Court and the Family Matters Court (Care and Protection).
Nicola is Treasurer of the Criminal Lawyers Association of the NT and has held that role since 2011.
Nicola has a varied practice and is willing to accept matters at any stage of proceedings in the following areas:
